When developing the Compaq, there were three important considerations: 
1. Child safety and comfort 
2. Small cars are increasing in popularity 
3. Families are finding it difficult to fit 3 young children across the back seat (all in restraints)

Hassle Free Harness: Safe-n-Sound’s unique Hassle Free Harness repositions your child’s shoulder straps without the need to rethread the straps through the slots of the seat. When adjusting the height of the headrest, it automatically adjusts the harness. There are 9 growth positions to acommodate a small child from birth through to a toddler of approximately 4 years of age.

3 Across The Back: The Safe-n-Sound Compaq is perfect for cars with small internal width. Growing families with 3 children across the back seat (all in restraints) will benefit from the slim-line design. The narrow width allows for better access to seat belt buckles, enhancing correct car seat installation. The Rear Facing compact installed depth allows for better fitment in cars where the front seats are in close proximity to the back.

Rear Facing: 
• ‘Convertible’ refers to the child seats ability to convert from rearward facing baby mode to forward facing toddler mode. 
• The Reversible Baby Insert can be removed to give your growing baby more room in the seat. 
• The Compaq’s rear facing installed dimensions will reduce space. This space reduction will reduce the need to move the front seat forward, in most instances, making it ideal for small cars. 
• Use your Compaq rear facing until your child’s shoulders are above the lower shoulder height marker. Then convert to forward facing mode.

Forward Facing: 
In forward facing toddler mode your Compaq convertible car seat can be used when the child’s shoulders reach the lower shoulder height marker (approximately 12 months of age) until the shoulder’s reach the upper shoulder height marker (approximately a 4 year old).

Rearward Facing - from birth up to approx. 12mths of age or until their shoulder’s reach the Lower Shoulder Height Marker. The seat then needs to be turned to forward facing mode.

Forward Facing - from approx. 12mths to 4 years of age. In forward facing mode your Compaq can be used when your children’s shoulder’s are in line with the Lower Shoulder Height Marker (approx. 12 months of age) until their shoulder’s reach the Upper Shoulder Height Marker (approx. 4 years old).
